There is this mountainous park near my house, and I’ve been here quite a few times now. I’m terrible with maps, so I don’t even bother trying to use one. I basically start wandering and hope that I’ll find my way back to the exit. It actually is kind of dangerous because I don’t see many people when I go, but I always bring my cell phone with me (tip from AML). I like this shot of Taipei 101 a lot because it’s framed by nature, which is representative of one of my favorite things about Taipei: it’s an urban forest. Oh, and also, for once, it’s not the view from my apartment.
